PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
DRYMIX is a cement powder additive with an active principle that waterproofs and protects the concrete mass, prolonging its durability. The latter significantly depends on the microstructural properties of concrete, such as porosity and pore size, through which aggressive gases and liquids can penetrate, causing degradation. The particular chemical composition of DRYMIX reacts with the by-products of the cement hydration process and with the present moisture, forming an insoluble crystalline complex that permanently seals the capillary porosity formed during the cement hydration phase and micro-cracks, waterproofing the cement system to protect it from water penetration and aggressive chemical agents from any direction. In the case of cracks developing over time, the crystalline formation reactivates when new water penetrations occur, sealing cracks up to 0.5 mm. DRYMIX is suitable for ON-SITE USE with all types of cement, but also for shotcrete and prefabrication.

GREEN TECHNOLOGY
DRYMIX is an ecological product that uses concrete chemistry to perform its function, thus allowing for future recycling and avoiding the use of coating materials that would require high disposal costs. The use of DRYMIX therefore contributes to acquiring LEED credits.
DOSAGE
The dosage of DRYMIX is 1% of the weight of cement contained in the concrete. For sprayed concrete (shotcrete), the dosage should be increased up to 2%.
