The PTB V PVC JOINT waterstop is a waterproof PVC profile with a V-shaped central bulb, characterized by high elasticity and having two specially designed and constructed lanes for the insertion of a hydro-expansive cord, for waterproofing expansion joints, construction joints, and planned cracking with internal application to concrete. It is composed of high-quality thermoplastic vinyl resins with the addition of suitable plasticizer. It shows high resistance to the aggressive action of acid-alkaline solutions, aging, brackish waters, and is resistant to degradation caused by sun, ozone, and other atmospheric or chemical agents normally present in air and groundwater. It has high flexibility even at low temperatures, and its mechanical characteristics remain unchanged over time.
Waterproofing of expansion joints - structural - movement joints, construction joints, and planned cracking in concrete structures between foundation segments, floor segments, or between elevations in dams, tanks, hydroelectric plants, tunnels, reservoirs, wastewater treatment plants, channels, bulkheads, diaphragms, civil and industrial constructions.
